Frequently asked about Photo Restoration

Will it work on photos of just landscapes (no faces)?
Less dramatically. GFPGAN is tuned for face restoration first. Pure landscapes get general denoising and 2× upscaling but not the same uplift.
Can it recover badly damaged photos with missing parts?
Small scratches and dust: yes. Large missing areas: no — that needs inpainting, which is on the roadmap.
