Terms of Service

By accessing or using Apexkityou confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you're using Apexkit on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Accounts are created via Clerk (our auth provider) using email + password or a supported single-sign-on provider. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Account-level rules:

• One person per account. Sharing credentials is a breach of these Terms.
• Team / Agency tiers allow multiple seats; the account owner is responsible for invited members' conduct.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use policy, or applicable law. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice.

Pricing is published on https://apexkit.pro/pricingand may change with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers (your current price is locked for the remainder of any annual term you've paid for).

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period — you keep access until then and we don't prorate refunds.

Payments are processed by Stripe. UK and EU VAT is calculated automatically at checkout via Stripe Tax; the rate that applies depends on your country and (for B2B sales) your VAT ID. AppSumo Lifetime Deal codes are governed by the separate terms of that deal, summarised on the relevant deal page.

Full refund policy lives at /refunds. In short: 14-day cooling-off for new monthly subscribers, 30-day money-back on new annual subscribers, 60-day money-back on AppSumo LTD purchases (per AppSumo's standard terms).

You may not use Apexkit to do any of the following — even if a specific tool technically allows it:

• Generate or distribute illegal, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Process documents or images you don't have the right to process (a PDF unlock tool isn't a licence to bypass the rights of the document owner).
• Train competing AI models on Apexkit outputs at scale, or scrape the service to build a derivative tool catalogue.
• Send abuse, threats, harassment, or unsolicited bulk content using tools that generate communications.
• Attempt to bypass tier limits or rate limits via multiple accounts, automated scripts, or shared credentials.
• Interfere with the service, probe for vulnerabilities outside our coordinated disclosure programme (email hello@apexkit.pro), or attempt to exfiltrate user data.

Input. Files and text you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process them so we can perform the requested tool action — no broader rights, no training on your data, no sale to third parties.

Output.You own the output Apexkit produces from your input, to the extent the law allows ownership of AI-generated content in your jurisdiction (this varies; some jurisdictions don't permit copyright in AI outputs at all).

Storage. Free-tier uploads auto-delete after 24 hours; paid-tier uploads after 7 days unless you tag them for permanent retention (Pro+).

Apexkit tools are powered by third-party models (OpenAI, Replicate, and self-hosted models) plus our own orchestration. AI outputs:

• May contain factual errors, hallucinations, or omissions.
• Are not legal, medical, tax, or professional advice.
• Should be reviewed by you before being relied on for any decision.

Where a tool's system prompt forbids fabricated content (e.g. the AI Resume Tailor never invents experience), we monitor this — but we can't guarantee perfect adherence on every output.

Apexkit, the Apexkit name, and the service's look-and-feel are owned by Apexkit Ltd. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You can use Apexkit-generated outputs commercially.

Third-party trademarks (iLovePDF, Smallpdf, TinyWow, ChatGPT, etc.) referenced on comparison pages remain the property of their respective owners; mention is permitted under fair use comparative advertising.

Service provided “as is.”We work hard to keep Apexkit running, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime, lossless processing, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Cap on liability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Apexkit is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or (b) £100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).

You can close your account at any time from /app/settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, attempt fraud, or pose a security risk. On termination we'll delete your data within 30 days unless we're legally required to keep it longer (e.g. tax records for paid invoices).

We'll update these Terms occasionally as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email and shown as a banner inside the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the change date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved via the contact details below will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country grant you the right to bring proceedings locally.
